Attached is an observation of Jupiter made on the 28th May. Jupiter is now descending into the west when darkness arrives:
there is not long left in the current apparition. Seeing was variable but a number of features were visible:
STB quite broad in places,a few white ovals were visible.
SEB broad, some darker sections in the SEBz. The GRS is just rotating into view.
Hardly any festoons present in the EZ.
NEB contains many interesting structures including a large bright white rift which seemed to run all the way across the fool. side of the NEB from the CM onwards.
NTB vague and hard to see.
NNTB dark and prominent along the northern edge.
